Fine Design Marine will present the Viknes S35 Panorama at the 2026 Southampton International Boat Show, giving the Norwegian all-weather cruiser its first UK public show appearance. The 10.60-metre model is aimed at owners who want an enclosed wheelhouse, practical deck access and year-round cruising capability within the under-12-metre market.
The S35 Panorama is built by Viknes on Norway’s west coast and combines a semi-planing hull with keel protection and a single straight-shaft diesel installation. Its Southampton appearance is also part of a renewed push into the UK market, where enclosed Scandinavian cruisers have a natural audience among owners who do not restrict their boating to settled summer weather.
Panoramic wheelhouse is central to the layout
The defining feature is the wheelhouse, which uses extensive glazing to create broad visibility around the helm and saloon. Southampton’s show preview highlights the 360-degree outlook, protected walkaround decks and insulation intended to make the boat practical for cruising in changing conditions.
Below and around the saloon, the layout provides two main cabins and a total quoted sleeping capacity of 2+2+1. Viknes lists CE design category B capacity for six people and category C capacity for ten, giving prospective buyers a clearer indication of the operating categories for which the boat has been designed.
Three Yanmar diesel options up to 440hp
Viknes offers the S35 Panorama with a Yanmar 8LV rated at 370hp or 6LY engines rated at 400hp and 440hp. All three options use a single straight shaft rather than an outdrive, while the manufacturer lists the hull type as semi-planing with a keel.
Official dimensions are 10.60 metres overall with a 3.52-metre beam and a maximum loaded draught of 1.15 metres. Standard lightship weight is listed at 6,200kg, while fuel capacity is 700 litres split between two 350-litre tanks.
UK buyers get a close look at Southampton
The S35 Panorama will be displayed on Stand M337 during the Southampton show, which opens on 18 September. Fine Design Marine is handling the UK presentation and is offering private walkthroughs alongside normal public viewing during the event.
