A new addition to Tiara's crossover range

Tiara Yachts announced the 35 LX on 27 October 2026, adding a dual-console design to its Luxury Crossover family. The American builder says the model has been developed around family gatherings, days at the sandbar and flexible social use rather than a single specialist activity.

The first public showing is planned for the Miami International Boat Show in February 2027, so this is a new-model announcement rather than a report of a vessel already on display in Fort Lauderdale. Buyers interested in seeing the final boat should distinguish the renderings and specifications available now from details confirmed during its physical debut.

The design aims to offer a more open relationship between bow and stern than some conventional dual-console layouts. A central walkthrough runs from the aft cockpit toward the forward lounge, helping guests move through the boat without repeatedly navigating narrow side passages.

Social areas change with the occasion

Tiara describes a forward lounge with a table that can convert into a sunpad and aft seating designed for different group sizes. Such flexibility matters for a boat that may host a family cruise in the morning and a larger gathering at anchor later in the day.

An integrated hull-side boarding door is intended to make moving between boat and dock easier, especially when carrying bags or helping less mobile guests aboard. Buyers will still need to inspect its height above the water, the strength of surrounding handholds and how the door functions against different pontoon arrangements.

The manufacturer places forward-facing lounge seating in the aft cockpit for guests who prefer a conventional view while underway. That choice is practical because not every social seat works equally well when the vessel is moving at speed or passing through uneven conditions.

Twin outboards and a connected helm

The 35 LX is planned with a twin Mercury Verado V10 outboard package, with Garmin navigation electronics and EmpirBus digital switching integrated at the helm. The announcement presents these systems as part of a responsive, intuitive driving environment, though detailed sea-trial performance figures remain to be independently confirmed.

Joystick and electronics features can improve convenience in busy marinas, but prospective owners should confirm which capabilities are standard and how the final engine specification affects cost and service. A dealer demonstration should show not only touchscreen functions but also the arrangement of physical controls and safety-critical information.

The boat's below-deck accommodation includes a private head and a small cabin area with a settee and storage. This gives families a place to change or escape the sun without treating the LX as a full cruising yacht designed around extensive overnight accommodation.

The model's introduction also invites a closer look at loading limits and deck organisation for group outings. Loose bags, inflatable toys and shoes can quickly occupy the same passage that appears generous in a presentation, so owners should assess dedicated lockers and how equipment is kept from blocking movement.

For a tender-style role, the combined height of an aft platform and the outboard rig will determine how easily passengers board from the water. Prospective buyers may also want to inspect the anchoring arrangement and whether getting forward to handle a mooring line feels secure.

When comparing the 35 LX with other premium bowriders, the quality of shade is an important distinction. A boat that spends afternoons stationary in strong sunshine needs comfortable seating temperatures, ventilation and a straightforward way to find cover without rearranging every guest.

What to examine before placing an order

The key purchasing question is whether the open layout remains comfortable for the mix of guests usually carried. Families should assess shade, grab rails, safe movement between bow and stern and the ability to store beach equipment out of the way.

The announcement is also an opportunity to compare the LX concept with Tiara's more centre-console-oriented Luxury Sport models. A dual-console bowrider gives a different balance between protected seating, passenger circulation and fishing or watersports use.

Specification sheets, warranty coverage and a hands-on viewing at the planned February 2027 show will ultimately determine how the model meets expectations. For now, Tiara's 35 LX is an interesting signal that established premium builders continue to invest in versatile family dayboats.
