Teakdecking Systems will show its ECO-PRO mould and mildew stain remover at IBEX 2026 as part of a wider professional deck-care display. The concentrate is designed for teak, composite, cork and several other marine surfaces without using the harsh acid chemistry associated with some traditional deck cleaners.
The company describes ECO-PRO as plant-based, pH-neutral, non-toxic and VOC-free. It is intended for both targeted stain removal and routine cleaning where mould, mildew, grease, algae or organic contamination is present.
Concentrate is mixed to suit the cleaning job
One quart of ECO-PRO concentrate can make more than eight gallons of working solution depending on the chosen dilution. Heavier mould and mildew staining uses a stronger mix than routine wash-down work.
The product is applied wet, allowed a short dwell time and then agitated before rinsing. Owners should follow the manufacturer's concentration and application guidance because stronger mixtures are not automatically better for every surface.
Deck care is about preserving material as well as appearance
Teakdecking Systems argues that aggressive acid or caustic cleaners can erode softer teak fibres and accelerate surface wear. ECO-PRO is positioned as part of a maintenance approach that cleans contamination without unnecessarily stripping material from the deck.
That distinction matters on smaller leisure boats because repeated deep cleaning can shorten the useful life of expensive teak or composite surfaces. Gentle routine care is usually cheaper than waiting until heavy staining requires aggressive restoration.
IBEX display will cover the wider maintenance system
ECO-PRO will appear alongside the company's ECO-100 and ECO-300 products and other installation and maintenance equipment at IBEX in Tampa. The show runs from 6 to 8 October 2026 and is aimed primarily at boatbuilders, yards, installers and marine suppliers.
