STERK adds a dedicated Adriatic sales partner
STERK Yachts has appointed Fred Bobek d.o.o. as its exclusive importer and dealer for Croatia and Slovenia. The agreement took effect on 1 October and covers the full STERK model range together with local sales, delivery and after-sales support.
The German builder says the appointment is part of its wider international expansion strategy. A demonstration boat has already been ordered for Croatia and is expected to arrive before the 2027 boating season, giving prospective buyers a local platform for sea trials and product familiarisation.
Local support matters in a dense cruising market
Croatia and Slovenia sit within one of Europe’s most active recreational-boating regions, with a dense network of marinas, charter operators and seasonal cruising traffic. A permanent regional dealer can reduce the distance between the factory and owners when boats need commissioning, warranty work or technical support.
Fred Bobek brings experience in marine sales, distribution and service across the Adriatic. That local knowledge is particularly important for newer brands because customer confidence often depends as much on delivery and support as it does on the specifications of the boat itself.
Dealer expansion supports broader brand growth
STERK positions its range around performance-oriented hull design and flexible deck layouts. Expanding the dealer network gives the company another route to convert that product strategy into sustained market share outside its home territory.
The next measure will be how quickly the demonstration programme develops into customer deliveries and whether service capacity grows alongside sales. For owners, the appointment provides a clearer local point of contact as STERK builds its presence across Croatia and Slovenia.
