The manufacturer is seeking distribution, boatbuilding and service partners for its North American expansion. Its catalogue includes different generator outputs, so suitability must be established for the actual vessel and power demand.
Emissions compliance for a new market
The stated EPA certification addresses US emissions requirements for the relevant generator range. An owner should verify the specific model documentation rather than assume every product in a global catalogue carries identical approval.
Installation also involves exhaust routing, cooling, fuel arrangements and ventilation. A small boat's available space and weight can make those considerations decisive.
Service follows the sale
Solé's IBEX programme includes conversations with distributors and technical companies that could provide local spare parts and support. Availability of service can be as important as the generator's electrical rating.
