Sea-Doo's 2027 Wake Pro is the brand's dedicated tow-sports personal watercraft, combining a 230hp Rotax engine with equipment designed around towing skiers and board riders. The craft carries up to three people and uses Sea-Doo's stable ST3 hull platform.
The Wake Pro is more specialised than a standard touring PWC because towing hardware is integrated into the production package. That means owners do not have to build a watersports setup around aftermarket accessories from scratch.
Ski Mode and a retractable pylon are standard
Sea-Doo includes a retractable ski pylon and Ski Mode, which lets the driver select acceleration and speed profiles intended to produce more consistent pulls. A removable board rack gives the craft a dedicated place to carry wakeboards away from the passenger seat.
These systems improve convenience but do not replace good towing practice. The driver still needs a spotter where required, adequate space and compliance with local rules governing towing from personal watercraft.
230hp provides the pulling power
The Wake Pro uses the supercharged Rotax 1630 ACE 230 engine, giving it substantially more output than entry-level recreational PWCs. The larger ST3 hull and rear platform are designed to provide greater stability when riders are boarding or preparing to be towed.
Fuel consumption can increase quickly during repeated acceleration and towing sessions, so owners should plan range around actual watersports use rather than calm-water cruising figures. Carrying passengers and equipment will also affect performance.
Built as a multi-use PWC
Although tow sports are the central theme, the Wake Pro can still be used for general cruising and day trips. Storage, audio options and the large platform make it more versatile than a stripped-down performance machine.
At roughly 3.45m long, the craft remains compact enough for conventional PWC trailers and storage arrangements. Buyers should still check total trailer weight and local launch requirements before purchase.
