Sea-Doo's new Spark X brings a 110hp Rotax 1000 ACE engine to the brand's compact recreational personal-watercraft platform for the 2027 model year. The model is also part of the Sea-Doo display at Interboot 2026 in Friedrichshafen.
BRP positions the Spark X above the regular Spark in performance while retaining the lightweight Polytec hull concept. The model is offered in two- and three-rider versions, giving buyers a choice between the most compact layout and additional passenger capacity.
110 horsepower changes the Spark formula
The 1000 ACE engine raises output beyond the 60hp and 90hp choices associated with the regular Spark range. Sea-Doo is targeting stronger acceleration and sharper response without moving the model into the larger GTI or performance-PWC platforms.
The three-rider Spark X measures about 3.06m long and 1.17m wide, with a published dry weight of 214kg. Those dimensions keep it relatively easy to tow and store compared with larger touring personal watercraft.
iDF is standard on the Spark X
The model includes Sea-Doo's Intelligent Debris-Free Pump System, which is designed to reverse the direction of the jet-pump impeller when activated so weeds and debris can be cleared without the rider entering the water. It is a convenience and safety feature, but it does not replace inspection when a blockage or damage remains.
Fuel capacity is listed at 30 litres and total storage at 44.7 litres for the current specification. Actual range will depend on speed, load, water conditions and how frequently the full 110hp output is used.
Interboot gives the 2027 model European visibility
The Spark X sits squarely inside Leisure Boat Guide's small-craft remit and adds another option for buyers who want PWC performance without the size of a full touring model. Its Interboot appearance gives European visitors an early look at the higher-output version.
