A stronger Spark range for 2027
Sea-Doo has revealed its 2027 personal-watercraft and Switch lineup, led by a more powerful Spark family and a wider spread of high-output performance models. The new Spark X and Spark X Trixx use the Rotax 1000 ACE engine in 110hp form, while lower-output versions retain the accessible character that has made the Spark a popular entry point into personal watercraft.
Sea-Doo says the Spark X gains a 15 percent increase in top speed compared with the previous configuration. The company is keeping the lightweight, playful format of the platform while giving riders a more performance-focused option without moving into the larger flagship PWC classes.
350hp moves across the performance range
At the other end of the lineup, the Rotax 1630 ACE engine is now offered with up to 350hp on the GTX Limited, RXT-X and RXP-X platforms. A limited-edition RXP-X Senna 350 also joins the range as part of Sea-Doo's collaboration with the Senna brand.
The change broadens the availability of Sea-Doo's highest-output factory specification rather than limiting it to a single specialist model. For buyers comparing performance PWCs, that creates a wider choice of hull and riding styles around the same headline power level.
More connected displays
Sea-Doo is also extending its 10.25-inch touchscreen display to additional models, including the GTX and GTR-X. The larger interface is designed to bring navigation, ride information and connected functions into a more integrated helm environment across a broader part of the range.
Switch enters its fifth year
The 2027 model year also marks five years since the Sea-Doo Switch pontoon entered the market. Switch models fitted with 230hp and 300hp engines gain wider availability of the 10.25-inch display, while Sea-Doo continues to position the platform as a compact, adaptable family boat alongside its PWC range.
