Salpa is using its September Open Days at Porto Mirabello in La Spezia for the world premiere of the new Soleil 21.5. The compact RIB is available for inspection and sea trials, with Salpa pairing the demonstration boat with a Mercury 150hp outboard.
The model joins Salpa’s open Soleil range between the existing 20 and 23. It measures 7.12m overall and 2.75m across the beam, keeping it comfortably within Leisure Boat Guide’s under-12m scope.
Seven-metre RIB carries CE category B
Salpa lists the Soleil 21.5 in CE category B for up to 10 people. The hull uses a single-step configuration and Hypalon ORCA 1670 tubes with a quoted diameter of 60cm.
Recommended power is 150hp, matching the engine used for the current sea-trial programme, while the maximum published rating is 200hp. That gives buyers scope to choose between a balanced everyday setup and a higher-output installation.
Fuel and water capacity support full-day use
The published specification lists a 150-litre fuel tank and a 50-litre freshwater tank. Standard equipment includes navigation lights, a 12V electrical system, storage beneath the console and pilot seat, a telescopic ladder and stern seating.
Options include a shower, bow and stern sunpads, stereo, Garmin electronics, electric windlass and several deck-finish packages. The final equipment level will therefore influence both weight and the boat’s intended use.
Open Days continue through late September
Salpa’s La Spezia Open Days run across 18–20 and 25–27 September 2026 at AMG Boat Experiences in Porto Mirabello. The event also includes other Soleil models and several larger Salpa novelties available for inspection.
