Saffier Yachts opened its IJmuiden shipyard to sailing enthusiasts on 7 and 8 March 2026 for its Experience Days. The builder says visitors arrived from several countries to see how its sailing yachts are produced and to examine boats at different stages of construction.

The programme was built around the yard rather than a conventional boat-show display. Guests were able to look at manufacturing work in progress and discuss onboard systems, rigs and sails with the Saffier team and participating technical partners.

Seldén, North Sails and B&G were among the companies named by Saffier in the official recap. Their participation gave visitors a closer look at the equipment and systems that sit behind the finished boats shown in the yard's range.

For Leisure Boat Guide, the event provides useful insight into a builder whose current range includes several sailing boats below 12 metres. It also shows how yards are using factory access and technical demonstrations to connect owners and prospective buyers directly with production.
