Qwest Marine is showing the RF455 in Interboot 2026's E-Boat Area, where the official catalogue identifies the model as a Germany-wide novelty. The aluminium fishing boat measures 4.55m and is designed around an open deck with dedicated storage for rods and tackle.
Qwest's own model information describes welded storage boxes, rod compartments and provision for a bow-mounted trolling motor. The layout is intended to keep fishing equipment organised while maintaining a stable working area on board.
Aluminium construction keeps the boat practical
The RF455 uses welded aluminium rather than GRP, which gives the hull a robust, workmanlike character and reduces concerns about cosmetic gelcoat damage around fishing gear. Qwest also powder-coats the current RF455 in anthracite for a more finished appearance.
The model's high freeboard is intended to improve confidence on larger inland waters, while a self-draining floor helps with routine use. These features are useful for anglers, but owners still need to match operating conditions to the boat's certification and weather limits.
Electric propulsion puts the RF455 in the E-Boat Area
Interboot is presenting the RF455 within its electric-boat display, highlighting the model as part of the growing choice of battery-powered small craft. Electric propulsion can suit slow fishing and trolling particularly well because low-speed operation is common and quiet running is valuable.
Range depends strongly on battery capacity, motor size, speed and weather, so buyers should not rely on one headline endurance figure. The final battery, charging and motor package should be evaluated for the waters where the boat will actually be used.
A compact specialist boat rather than a generic dayboat
The RF455 is more specialised than many family bowriders at Interboot, with fishing storage and equipment mounting built into the design. That focus can be an advantage for owners who know that angling will be the boat's main purpose.
