The new model carries up to seven people

The 625 Open is designed for up to seven passengers and can be powered by Mercury outboards up to 150hp. That keeps it squarely in the LBG market as a compact, trailerable dayboat with enough capacity for family or friends.

Quicksilver positions the model across cruising, watersports and fishing rather than as a single-purpose boat. That broad use is one reason open bowriders remain popular with first-time and returning owners.

A new console improves helm visibility

The redesign includes a new console, sport-style windscreen and revised helm ergonomics. Quicksilver says visibility has also been improved, while the console provides better access to the small cabin area.

Dedicated space for a portable toilet adds practical value for family day boating. On a boat of this size, small gains in storage and circulation can have a noticeable effect because every compartment competes for limited space.

The bow converts between seating and sun lounging

The forward area is arranged for social seating and dining and can be converted into a sun lounge using available options. Premium upholstery with diamond-pattern detailing is used around the cockpit and seating areas.

Convertible spaces are particularly valuable below seven metres because owners cannot dedicate separate zones to every activity. A bow that changes function can support fishing in the morning and relaxed family use later in the day.

The 625 builds on a model launched in 2016

The outgoing 605 Open has been part of Quicksilver's range since 2016, giving the new model a well-established platform to replace. Product manager Sylvain Perret says the aim was to improve comfort, usability and on-water experience rather than change the basic concept.

For buyers, that continuity can be useful because the ownership proposition remains familiar. The main decision is whether the updated layout and equipment justify moving to the new generation.
