A larger NAVAN built around exploration

The C38 is NAVAN’s largest model to date and represents a step into a larger segment while remaining within the leisure-boat category. Brunswick says the boat was developed around feedback from existing NAVAN owners and retains the brand’s emphasis on practical exploration rather than purely marina-based use.

Its patented T-Step hull is designed to improve efficiency and ride quality at speed. The hull concept is paired with a centre-console-style helm deck intended to keep the driver connected with passengers while maintaining clear sightlines around the boat.

Sleeping space for four below deck

Below deck, the C38 provides a cabin with standing headroom and sleeping space for four people. NAVAN positions this as a key difference from many open boats of a similar overall length, where overnight accommodation can be more limited.

The interior is intended to support weekend cruising rather than only day trips. That makes the C38 relevant to owners who want a boat compact enough for conventional leisure-boating infrastructure but capable of longer coastal itineraries.

Folding terrace expands the waterside area

A folding social terrace extends the swim-platform area when the boat is at anchor. The feature is intended to create a broader waterside space for swimming, relaxing and moving between the boat and the water.

Further aft, the deck can be configured for different uses including fishing, cruising or cooking. NAVAN describes the modular approach as a way of allowing the same boat to support very different types of day on the water without permanently committing the owner to one layout.

C38 starts the next phase of the range

NAVAN also confirmed that an S38 will follow in early 2027, using the new 38-foot platform as the basis for another interpretation of the concept. Further details of that model are expected closer to launch.

For leisure boat buyers, the C38 sits at the upper end of the sub-12-metre category and adds another option for those comparing adventure-oriented boats with more traditional sports cruisers and walkaround models. Its combination of overnight accommodation and modular deck space is intended to broaden how the boat can be used.
