Monterey Boats has introduced the Elite 34 as the newest flagship of its premium Elite Series. The model extends the range upward from the existing smaller Elite boats while remaining within Leisure Boat Guide’s under-12m scope.
The manufacturer lists the hull at 34ft overall with the swim platform, or 37ft and 11.28m when the outboard engines are included. Beam is 10ft 6in, giving the boat considerably more interior and deck volume than the smaller members of the series.
Up to 850hp for the new flagship
Monterey rates the Elite 34 for a maximum of 850hp, with a published fuel capacity of 320 US gallons. The specification points to a boat intended for longer day trips and coastal use rather than a simple runabout role.
Freshwater capacity is listed at 35 US gallons and waste capacity at 28 US gallons. Those figures support the model’s move toward weekending and extended-use capability while keeping the open premium-boat character of the Elite line.
Elite range continues to expand
The Elite 34 joins a family that now stretches from 23ft to 34ft, with Monterey also confirming that an Elite 38 is planned to follow. The builder says the larger models are intended to give existing Elite owners a progression path without changing the design philosophy of the range.
Monterey is positioning the 34 around increased entertaining space, upgraded helm ergonomics and greater offshore capability. Buyers should still compare the actual engine package, loaded displacement and local certification because those details affect performance and operating costs.
Public debut follows preview appearances
Monterey said the Elite 34 would be previewed at the Atlantic City and Annapolis shows before its formal debut at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The Fort Lauderdale event runs from 28 October to 1 November.
