Interboot lists the 2027 NXT20 at 1,798kg and identifies it specifically as a show novelty. That wording should not be stretched into a global-premiere claim, but it does confirm that the model is one of the fresh products highlighted at this year's Friedrichshafen event.
SurfStar and FasterFill headline the watersports package
MasterCraft includes its SurfStar system and NXT FasterFill ballast on the NXT20, with a published ballast capacity of 1,770lb. The combination is designed to shape wakes and waves for wakeboarding and wakesurfing while keeping the boat within a 20ft platform.
The standard engine listed by MasterCraft is a 5.3-litre GDI HO petrol unit, while DockStar is available as an upgrade and underwater exhaust is included. Buyers should confirm regional engine availability because specifications can vary by market and model year.
Compact dimensions support easier ownership
The builder presents the NXT20 as easier to tow, store and handle than larger wake boats, although actual trailering weight will exceed the quoted dry boat weight once fuel, equipment and trailer mass are included.
