Jeanneau's official specifications list the Sun Odyssey 349 at 10.34 metres overall. The new Sun Odyssey 389 is listed at 11.75 metres, giving the range two cruising models that sit clearly inside the LBG size limit.
The wider renewal also includes larger Sun Odyssey models, but those fall outside Leisure Boat Guide's coverage. The significance here is the continued presence of conventional family cruising yachts in the 34-to-39-foot bracket, an important part of the production sailing market.
Jeanneau describes the Sun Odyssey range as performance-oriented but designed around straightforward handling and onboard comfort. The 2026 restructuring gives buyers a clearer progression through the range while retaining two substantial cruising choices below 12 metres.
