A new entry point to the Cap Camarat range
Jeanneau is preparing the world premiere of its new Cap Camarat 6.0 CC at the 2026 Grand Pavois in La Rochelle. At 5.94 metres overall, the centre-console model sits firmly within Leisure Boat Guide’s small-craft scope and is designed as an accessible multipurpose boat for family outings, swimming, fishing and watersports.
The new model replaces the previous entry point to the Cap Camarat centre-console family with a redesigned layout intended to make better use of its compact footprint. Jeanneau says the boat retains the range’s established driving character while adding more flexibility for owners who use the same boat for several different activities.
More flexibility around the deck
The design focuses on open deck movement and adaptable seating rather than a heavily built-up interior. That approach is typical of compact centre-console boats, where clear circulation and storage can matter as much as outright cabin volume.
Jeanneau is positioning the 6.0 CC as a boat that can switch easily between active use and relaxed day boating. For buyers in this size class, that versatility is important because a single boat may need to cover fishing, towing toys, family cruising and short coastal trips without becoming difficult to trailer, berth or handle.
Small size, broad leisure use
At under six metres, the Cap Camarat 6.0 CC remains manageable for owner-drivers and can fit into marinas and storage arrangements that are impractical for larger cruisers. The smaller hull also keeps engine, maintenance and mooring requirements more approachable for first-time owners moving up from a RIB or open runabout.
The model sits below Jeanneau’s larger Cap Camarat offerings but uses the same broad design philosophy: outboard power, an open cockpit, strong access to the bow and a layout centred on outdoor time aboard rather than enclosed accommodation.
World premiere at Grand Pavois
Jeanneau announced that the public will see the boat for the first time at Grand Pavois 2026 in La Rochelle. That makes the show an important first opportunity for buyers to assess the production boat rather than relying only on renderings and early specifications.
Leisure Boat Guide already carries the Cap Camarat 6.0 CC in its production-boat database and will update the model record as Jeanneau publishes final engine options, equipment packages and market-specific pricing.
