IBEX 2026 has confirmed ten companies for the Yachting Ventures Start-Up Pavilion in Tampa, giving emerging marine businesses a direct route to boatbuilders, dealers, distributors and investors. The trade show runs from 6 to 8 October at the Tampa Convention Center.
The pavilion returns for a third year and focuses on early-stage companies trying to turn ideas into repeatable marine products or services. For Leisure Boat Guide readers, the important point is that many new technologies reach production boats only after they have passed this commercial and technical stage.
Ten companies share the pavilion
The confirmed businesses are BoatClick, Controllable Currents, Keraunos, Massive Marine, TONJO, Smooth Technology Company, WaterDog Marine, ZeaFarer, Seasure and Deckhand. Their work spans different parts of the recreational marine market rather than one single equipment category.
A place in the pavilion is not a certification or proof that every product is ready for installation. Builders and owners still need to examine specifications, testing, warranties and support arrangements before adopting a new system.
IBEX gives start-ups access to builders
Trade shows can shorten the distance between a small technology company and an established production-boat builder. A useful idea still has to be manufactured consistently, documented properly and supported after the sale.
That makes the pavilion relevant to the under-12-metre market, where builders often need compact, cost-conscious systems that can be installed across a model range. Suppliers that can meet those requirements may move quickly from demonstration to production conversations.
Owners should distinguish concept from finished product
Some pavilion companies will be showing products already in use, while others may be presenting prototypes or developing services. Visitors should ask what is commercially available now and what remains on a future roadmap.
IBEX's official announcement provides the participant list and event details. Leisure Boat Guide will continue to separate demonstrated equipment from concepts when covering individual companies from the show.
