Charter-management platform Floatist has launched managed websites that can show live boat availability, equipment information and integrated payments without sending customers to a separate booking system. The company says its wider software platform currently serves more than 750 charter yachts worldwide.

The new website service is aimed at fleet operators rather than individual boat owners. It is relevant to smaller leisure craft because many sailing schools and charter bases operate fleets of sub-12-metre boats where fast availability checks can influence a booking.

Availability appears on the public site

Floatist says the websites connect current fleet availability with the customer-facing pages, allowing a visitor to move from browsing to a booking decision with fewer manual steps. Individual boat pages can also include manuals and equipment details.

That reduces the risk of a brochure-style website becoming disconnected from the fleet-management system. Operators still need processes for cancellations, maintenance blocks and last-minute changes so that the public display remains accurate.

Payments and enquiries feed into operations

The service includes integrated payments, review tools, destination content and monthly performance reporting. Floatist says enquiries and reservations flow into its existing dashboard rather than requiring staff to re-enter them elsewhere.

For a small charter base, the potential benefit is administrative rather than nautical. Less duplication can leave staff more time for handovers, maintenance and customer support around the boats themselves.

Pricing depends on the operator's existing setup

Floatist says managed websites are included for existing subscribers without an additional monthly charge, while other operators can access the product from €39 a month. Those are company-published terms and should be confirmed before a business commits.

Leisure Boat Guide reports the launch as marine-business technology rather than an endorsement of a booking platform. Operators should review payment terms, data handling and integration with their own fleet procedures before switching systems.
