Quorning Boats has announced that the Dragonfly 36 has won European Yacht of the Year 2026 in the Performance Multihull category. The award was announced during boot Düsseldorf and gives the Danish yard a major international honour for its newest performance-cruising trimaran.

Dragonfly says the 36 combines a wave-piercing hull concept, carbon rig and the latest generation of its Swing Wing folding system. The design is intended to balance fast sailing with the practical requirements of cruising and reduced beam for marina berthing.

The award follows the model's move into the market as a new generation within the Dragonfly range. Its size keeps it within Leisure Boat Guide's under-12-metre sailing coverage while offering the space and capability expected from a substantially larger conventional monohull.

Quorning Boats displayed the award-winning Dragonfly 36 at boot Düsseldorf 2026. The result adds independent recognition to a model that has become an important part of the yard's current trimaran programme.
