Quorning Boats has announced that the Dragonfly 36 Performance is a nominee for European Yacht of the Year 2026. The trimaran was selected in the category for yachts up to 12 metres, placing it directly within Leisure Boat Guide's sailing remit.
Dragonfly describes the 36 Performance as a high-performance trimaran intended to combine speed with cruising comfort and practical handling. The nomination follows the model's move from development into series production.
The yard said 30 examples had been sold during the model's first year. That figure gives the nomination a commercial context as well as a design one, indicating early demand for the new trimaran platform.
The European Yacht of the Year winners were due to be announced at boot Düsseldorf in January. For Dragonfly, the nomination continued a long history of recognition for its folding performance-cruising trimarans.
