Quorning Boats has revealed the new Dragonfly 33, describing it as the next evolution of the yard's compact performance-cruising trimaran line. The official announcement positions the model as a successor in spirit to the Dragonfly 32 while drawing design influence from the larger Dragonfly 36.
The yard's published specifications give the centre-hull length overall, including the fixed bowsprit, as 10.68 metres. That puts the new model firmly inside Leisure Boat Guide's under-12-metre sailing category.
Dragonfly says the 33 combines family cruising accommodation with the handling and sailing performance expected from its folding trimaran range. The model also uses the company's Swing Wing system, allowing the sailing beam to be reduced for berthing and storage.
The September 2026 world-premiere announcement marks the beginning of the model's public launch programme. Dragonfly is also using its newsletter and dealer network to release further specifications, videos and launch information as production develops.
