An Italian dayboat with a different stern

Barcelona International Boat Show lists a Cranchi 32 LT among the motorboats at Moll de la Fusta for 14–18 October 2026. Cranchi currently markets the A32 as a sport-focused day cruiser built around flexible spaces at the water’s edge. The show listing and builder material should be checked against the actual nameplate before assuming every variant is identical, but the manufacturer’s current A32 design is an appropriate reference for this part of its range.

The A32 targets people who use a boat as a place to swim, eat and relax rather than as a miniature long-range yacht. That does not make its construction or engineering unimportant. A ten-metre leisure boat still needs a sound hull, appropriate safety arrangements and good servicing access.

A transforming bathing platform

A striking feature is a side bulwark that folds down near the stern to create a waterside terrace. Part of the swim platform also moves on a hydraulic mechanism to provide steps toward the water. The combination changes the way guests board after swimming and use the back of the boat when at rest.

As with any moveable platform, owners should understand how the mechanisms operate and what conditions allow deployment. Hydraulic components need maintenance, while the fold-down area should be secured before departure. Families should also consider the height and stability of boarding steps with different water levels or waves.

Practical amenities beyond the deck

Cranchi equips the A32 with a cockpit refrigerator and a second larger refrigerator in the cabin, according to its current brochure material. These conveniences can reduce the need to return to shore for food and drinks during a day out. The boat offers forward lounging, a cockpit dinette and sheltered below-deck accommodation for more private moments.

Storage and maintenance are worth assessing closely. Refrigeration adds electrical demand, so the battery and charging arrangement should match real use at anchor. An owner should confirm that the galley, toilet facilities and sleeping berths included in the intended build are suitable for planned weekends.

Diesel and petrol propulsion options

The manufacturer describes Volvo Penta diesel and petrol sterndrive installations, including twin V6 and V8 petrol choices and twin D4 diesel units. Different options affect initial price, noise, fuel availability and service needs. Prospective owners should seek a dated, model-specific performance sheet and arrange a trial with comparable load.

The Barcelona event brings an opportunity to consider the A32 alongside other ten-metre open motorboats. Its distinctive bathing-platform arrangements may be compelling for swimming-focused families, but the complete ownership case still depends on maintenance, warranty and a realistic budget for equipment and berthing. The 10.21-metre and 3.05-metre dimensions are also consistent with the builder’s published A32 model information, reinforcing the identification of the show listing as the Luxury Tender. The specific boat’s options and delivery conditions still require direct confirmation.
