A tour for the sub-12m dayboat
BENETEAU's newly announced Flyer 30 roadshow has reached its Norwalk stop, scheduled for 24–27 September 2026, after the model's Americas premiere at Newport earlier in the month. At 9.22 metres length overall, the dayboat falls squarely within Leisure Boat Guide's under-12-metre remit.
The roadshow is separate from the original design announcement because it gives prospective owners specific opportunities to step aboard the boat. BENETEAU says customer deliveries are planned for autumn 2027, so the 2026 appearances are previews rather than a claim that boats are already being handed over.
Norwalk and the next East Coast calls
The itinerary begins at Newport and continues at Norwalk before moving to the Annapolis Powerboat Show from 8 to 11 October. A more limited dealer preview is planned in Charleston on 16 October, with Fort Lauderdale closing the programme from 28 October to 1 November.
Visitors are advised to arrange time with the relevant local BENETEAU dealer, rather than assume a free walk-on inspection is guaranteed at every stop. Show line-ups and appointments can change, and a dealer can confirm the particular configuration on display.
Why the boat warrants a visit
The Flyer 30 is designed around day boating, with social space, shelter and circulation receiving particular attention in the builder's presentation. Its 3.1-metre overall beam gives a starting point for comparing the deck plan with berthing, storage and trailering needs, though full transport requirements need separate verification.
Photographs may communicate the exterior silhouette but are less helpful for judging passage around the cockpit or how seating works at anchor. An in-person viewing therefore has a different value from reading the earlier design release.
Deliveries remain a future date
BENETEAU says dealerships expect availability beginning in fall 2027 and invites potential buyers to discuss reservations through its network. That is a forward-looking programme and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed handover for an individual order.
