A new chapter for the Flyer range
BENETEAU has introduced the Flyer 30 as the opening model in a new generation of its long-running Flyer dayboat family. The builder is positioning the boat around flexible coastal use, with a layout intended to work for short outings, time at anchor and longer days on the water.
The design moves the Flyer range towards a more refined visual language without abandoning the practical character that has made the series popular. BENETEAU says the hull, hardtop and deck spaces have been developed as one coherent package, with open sightlines and a stronger connection between the cockpit and the surrounding water.
More comfort around the cockpit
Much of the redesign centres on the social areas. The Flyer 30 incorporates an onboard bar within the main living space, while the console gives access to an interior compartment with toilet facilities, adding useful privacy and comfort for longer days away from the marina.
A full-height windscreen is intended to provide greater protection when conditions change or speeds rise. Combined with generous freeboard, the arrangement should make the boat feel more secure for family use while preserving the open character expected from a modern dayboat.
Designed for coastal versatility
BENETEAU describes the Flyer 30 as a boat for owners who want the sociability of an open dayboat without restricting themselves to very sheltered waters. The emphasis is therefore on easy movement, protected seating and usable onboard facilities rather than on turning the model into a compact cruising yacht.
International debut programme
The new Flyer 30 is scheduled to appear at the Newport International Boat Show from 17–20 September 2026, followed by the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from 28 October–1 November. BENETEAU also plans to present the model at boot Düsseldorf from 23–31 January 2027, giving the new generation a broad international launch programme.
