Halcyon replaces Corsa for the 2027 model year

Barletta says the 2027 Halcyon takes the place of the Corsa name as part of a wider model-year update across its pontoon range. The company positions Halcyon between mainstream family boating and its more expensive luxury lines, with the aim of combining a more distinctive visual identity with the practical features that have driven demand for larger modern pontoons.

The change is more than a badge update. Barletta describes Halcyon as a reworking of the Corsa idea around new styling, premium comfort and versatile performance, giving buyers another choice in a market where pontoons now compete directly with conventional dayboats for family leisure use.

Two lengths cover the core family-pontoon market

The new series is offered in 23- and 25-foot configurations. Those lengths keep the boats firmly within Leisure Boat Guide territory while still providing the deck area expected from a modern pontoon, especially for owners who use the boat for swimming, relaxed cruising, entertaining or watersports rather than overnight accommodation.

For many buyers, the practical difference between the two sizes will come down to passenger load, storage requirements, tow-vehicle limits, marina space and the amount of deck room wanted around the seating areas. The 25-foot version gives more space, while the 23-foot boat should remain easier to store and manage.

Four layouts target different ways of using the boat

Barletta lists Ultra Lounge, Meridian, Quad Lounge and Ultra Entertainer arrangements for the Halcyon family. Rather than forcing every owner into one seating plan, the range is structured around how people actually spend time aboard, whether that means maximising lounging, creating more conventional forward and aft seating, or prioritising social space.

That approach reflects the way the pontoon category has evolved. Buyers increasingly compare interior flexibility, charging points, entertainment systems and seating ergonomics in the same way they compare engine power, so a broad choice of layouts can be as important as the hull package itself.

The 2027 range emphasises comfort and usable technology

Barletta's wider 2027 programme also introduces updated materials, new colour choices and revised equipment across several series. On Halcyon, the emphasis is on making the boat feel more contemporary without losing the easy boarding, open deck space and family-friendly character that make pontoons attractive in the first place.

For prospective owners, the key test will be how the new series balances premium specification against purchase price and running simplicity. The Halcyon is intended to broaden Barletta's appeal rather than become an extreme performance model, making it particularly relevant to families looking for a comfortable, sociable leisure boat with more design character.
