Two sizes cover the mid-size fishing market

The Navigator 165 Sport measures 16ft 11in overall and carries up to five people, while the Navigator 175 Sport stretches to 17ft 11in with capacity for six. Both use an 87-inch beam and are intended to balance fishing space with everyday recreational use.

The smaller model is rated for up to 90hp, while the 175 increases maximum power to 140hp. That gives buyers a clear step between a more compact, easier-to-tow package and a larger platform with more power and passenger capacity.

Storage and livewell space focus on anglers

Both Navigator models include aerated livewells, rod storage and bow-deck storage as part of their fishing-oriented layouts. Alumacraft also fits its AlumaTrac accessory system, allowing owners to add compatible equipment without permanently altering the gunwales.

The 165 carries a 17-gallon fuel tank and the 175 an 18-gallon tank. Each is supplied with three pedestal seats including the driver's position, while additional storage is distributed around the bow and cockpit.

Aluminium construction keeps the boats manageable

Alumacraft lists boat, motor and trailer weights of 1,179lb for the Navigator 165 and 1,296lb for the Navigator 175. Those figures keep both models within the practical towing range of many family vehicles, although final rig weight depends on engine and equipment choices.

The hulls use aluminium construction with reinforced bottom plating intended for repeated fishing and recreational use. Buyers should still check local trailer limits, tow-vehicle ratings and launch-ramp conditions before choosing an engine and equipment package.

The Navigator broadens Alumacraft’s 2027 range

The new series sits between Alumacraft's smaller utility-focused boats and its larger tournament-oriented fishing platforms. It gives the range a practical middle ground for owners who do not need the size or cost of the larger tournament models.

Its emphasis is on straightforward fishing functionality without giving up seating and comfort for general family outings. For LBG readers, the Navigator 165 and 175 show how compact fishing boats increasingly serve both angling and family recreation.
