Supra has detailed the 2027 SA, a 22ft 5in wake boat built around a large ballast package and automated wake-control systems. The manufacturer lists seating for 15, a 102in beam and a dry boat weight of 6,500lb.
With the swim platform fitted, published overall length increases to 24ft 7in. The SA is aimed specifically at wakeboarding and wakesurfing, so its layout and control systems prioritise repeatable tow-sports conditions rather than conventional family-cruiser accommodation.
Standard ballast reaches 4,100lb
Supra lists 4,100lb of ballast as standard equipment and pairs it with AutoWake and the Supra Launch System. The Swell Surf System and SmartPlate are also included to shape the running attitude and wave for different rider requirements.
That ballast figure is substantial relative to the boat’s own published weight, so loaded displacement changes considerably once tanks, passengers and gear are aboard. The 2027 SA is offered with 6.2-litre Indmar petrol engines rated at 400hp, 450hp or 575hp. Fuel capacity is listed at 67 US gallons, giving owners three performance levels while retaining the same basic hull and watersports layout.
The highest-output option will suit some heavy-load and performance use, but it also brings different fuel and operating-cost considerations. Buyers should compare their normal crew, ballast use and towing conditions rather than selecting power on the maximum figure alone.
Wake hardware is matched by practical deck equipment
Standard equipment includes a power-folding tower, integrated board storage, dual touchscreens, a heated powered driver’s seat and rear transom seating. Supra also fits a tandem-axle Boatmate trailer, while published trailer length is 27ft 8in.
