Malibu’s 24 MXZ continues into the 2027 range as the largest model in the company’s pickle-fork-bow MXZ family. The boat measures 7.44m long, uses a 2.59m beam and is rated for a maximum capacity of 17 people.
Approximate dry weight is 2,994kg and fuel capacity is 310 litres. The MXZ layout is designed to maximise bow seating and interior space while retaining the wake and surf systems used across Malibu’s performance towboats.
Ballast capacity reaches 4,635lb
Maximum factory ballast is listed at 4,635lb, or about 2,102kg. Surf Gate and Power Wedge systems work with Malibu’s Wake Plus hull to adjust wake and surf characteristics for riders at different skill levels.
That ballast capacity can add a large percentage to the boat’s unloaded weight when fully used. Owners should distinguish between dry specification, trailering weight and actual operating displacement when planning transport, launching and storage.
Power range runs from 430hp to 607hp

The 24 MXZ uses Malibu’s wide pickle-fork bow to create a larger forward lounge than a conventional pointed bow of similar length. A removable filler cushion can convert the area between an open walk-through and a full bow playpen arrangement.
