2027 Axis T235 Adds Up to 4,380lb of Factory Ballast

Axis has refreshed the T235 for the 2027 model year, keeping the boat in the middle of its traditional-bow T-Series while increasing the emphasis on simple wake and surf setup. The 7.14m hull carries up to 16 people and uses a 2.59m beam.

Published dry weight is 2,404kg and fuel capacity is 242.2 litres. Axis positions the T235 as the balance point between the smaller T220 and larger T250 for families that want substantial cockpit space without moving to the longest boat in the range.

Factory ballast can reach 4,380lb

The T235 starts with 1,330lb of factory ballast and can be configured for up to 4,380lb. The Wake Plus hull works with Surf Gate and Power Wedge III to let the driver alter wave side and shape without moving passengers around the cockpit.

Surf Band gives the rider remote control over functions including speed, music and wave settings. Those systems simplify repeated rider changes, although owners still need to load the boat within its certified limits and account for the effect of ballast on displacement and draft.

Traditional bow keeps the T-Series layout

The T235 retains the pointed traditional bow used across the T-Series rather than the wider pickle-fork shape of Axis A-Series boats. The arrangement is intended to give the boat a deeper cockpit feel while maintaining space for a large crew and watersports equipment.

Axis lists a draft of 0.81m and power choices expressed as 400 to 606ft-lb of torque through its Monsoon engine family. The final engine package will affect purchase cost, fuel use and performance when the boat is heavily ballasted.

Technology focuses on quick rider changes

The low-profile Axis Dash brings presets, boat data and audio control together at the helm. Combined with Surf Gate, Power Wedge III and Surf Band, it is designed to reduce the amount of manual setup needed between wakeboard and wakesurf sessions.
