Axis has introduced an all-new T220 for 2027, giving the traditional-bow T-Series a compact 6.71m model with seating for up to 15 people. The boat measures 2.59m across the beam and has a published dry weight of 2,313kg.

Fuel capacity is 227.1 litres and draft is listed at 0.69m. Those dimensions make the T220 the smallest current T-Series model while still providing the full wake and surf equipment package expected from the range.

Maximum factory ballast approaches two tonnes

The standard ballast figure is 1,221lb, with maximum factory ballast reaching 3,971lb or about 1,801kg. That weight works with the Wake Plus hull to increase displacement and create the wake or surf wave required by the rider.

Surf Gate changes the surf side without moving crew, while Power Wedge III adjusts the character of the wave. Riders can also use Surf Band to change selected settings from behind the boat, reducing the need to stop and communicate every adjustment to the driver.

Compact size still supports a large crew

Axis rates the T220 for 15 people despite its 22ft hull length. The traditional bow and higher freeboard are intended to preserve usable seating and storage while keeping the boat easier to handle, tow and store than larger wake boats.

Published engine torque ranges from 400 to 460ft-lb through the Monsoon engine family. Buyers should match power to normal passenger and ballast loads because a wake boat can operate at very different displacement depending on how it is set up for a session.

2027 update keeps operation deliberately simple

The Axis Dash groups presets, vessel information and audio controls in a low-profile touchscreen interface. The approach is intended to make the boat straightforward for families in which more than one person may take the helm during a day on the water.

For LBG readers, the T220 demonstrates how much wake-sports hardware now fits inside a boat below seven metres. Its smaller footprint may make ownership more practical, but trailer weight, storage height and total loaded displacement remain important checks before purchase.
