A room to recover after a day outside
The redesign includes renewed treatment rooms and a pre-treatment lounge leading into the Ursa Lounge, whose constellation of lights represents Ursa Major. Steam rooms, an outdoor cedar sauna, a year-round heated pool and whirlpools give guests several ways to spend time between other activities.
The resort describes the programme as an invitation to slow down, not as a medical treatment or a claim of measured recovery from exercise. Guests should confirm individual treatment suitability and access with the spa before making a booking.
A treatment with regional roots
Its Magic of the Mountains Journey was developed with Sḵwálwen Botanicals, an Indigenous female-founded company. The announced sequence draws on wild rose and lichen and combines treatments with tea and a pause in the lounge, giving the experience a local connection rather than a generic resort menu.
The spa's most recent award follows equivalent distinctions in 2024 and 2025. That recognition may help narrow hotel choices, while the actual value of any stay remains dependent on the rooms, activities, travel arrangements and guest preferences.

A Whistler visit offers an alternative rhythm to a dayboat outing, with winter sports, walks and other resort activities depending on season and conditions.
