Rooster Sailing has been named official clothing sponsor for the 2026 ILCA World Championships in Dún Laoghaire, supporting competitors and the event team across two class events.

The programme covered the men’s ILCA 7 championship in August and the women’s ILCA 6 event in September. It also involved clothing support for event personnel alongside the competitors.
Two events at one sailing venue
The announced dates were 23–30 August for ILCA 7 and 5–12 September for ILCA 6. Dún Laoghaire hosted sailors, coaches and volunteers involved in both programmes.
Although the classes share a single-handed dinghy tradition, the events have their own competitors and results. A sponsor’s role should not be confused with determining those results.

Technical clothing helps sailors manage conditions while moving around a small boat. The correct choice depends on water temperature, expected exposure and the type of activity.
