Porsche’s GT3 Bergsport is a 100-car Alpine-inspired road edition for Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland.
A road car inspired by mountains
Porsche introduced the 911 GT3 Bergsport as a special market edition for four Alpine countries. The run is limited to one hundred cars, with design references to the brand’s early mountain driving history.
The car’s announcement dates to 1 September 2026. It is a motoring lifestyle story rather than a launch of a trailer-towing model.
A bespoke Valleygreen finish
The exterior uses a Paint to Sample Plus Valleygreenmetallic finish developed for the edition. A matching interior colour programme is intended to reflect the Alpine landscape.
The treatment creates a recognisable collectible specification. A photographic colour appearance may change with light, and the exact build documentation remains authoritative.
A manual Touring basis
The car is based on the current GT3 Touring and includes a six-speed manual gearbox and the Lightweight Package. Its first presentation was planned for the Arosa ClassicCar event in Switzerland.
Those choices emphasise a specific driving experience, but no public-road performance claim removes the need to follow local road conditions. Mountain routes also have seasonal restrictions.
A separate car choice for boat owners
A family might use a road car for travelling between a marina and inland destinations, but this sports car should not be assumed to tow a boat. An approved tow rating and suitable hardware are required for trailer use.
