The second Ayrburn Classic in New Zealand drew around 9,000 visitors to a motoring and hospitality gathering near Queenstown.
A classic-car day in Arrowtown
The Ayrburn Classic held its second edition in February 2026 at a hospitality precinct near Queenstown. Porsche’s later account records roughly five hundred vehicles and about nine thousand visitors.
Its combination of automobiles, gardens and food gives travellers a wider reason to visit than a conventional static car display. The reported figures are historical event totals, not a future capacity promise.
Motoring through the landscape
The programme included a charity Tour d’Elegance drive in the Wakatipu Basin. Mountain scenery and surrounding roads form part of the festival’s identity.
A participant or visitor must make separate travel and entry arrangements. The event is inland and is not a boat show or a harbour facility.
A range of collector vehicles
The cars described by Porsche included a Carrera GT and 918 Spyder among many different marques and eras. An organised exhibition gives visitors a way to encounter vehicles they might not see on an everyday drive.
A car on display is not necessarily available for sale or use. Actual ownership and participation terms belong with each entrant.
A break beyond the lake shore
Queenstown is known for its inland lake and mountain setting, making it a different travel option for boat owners visiting New Zealand. Moving between this region and a coastal marina requires a separate route.
The official Porsche feature and Ayrburn-specific photograph document the event. Future dates and admission should be checked with the organiser.
