Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina has received one Michelin Key in the 2026 Michelin Guide hotel selection, the hotel's first such recognition. The 24 September announcement places the property on Oahu's western coastline, where its lagoons offer a different landscape from the busier streets of Honolulu.
For families who build a trip around water, Ko Olina can be a base for a shoreline holiday as well as a hotel stay. The recognition relates to accommodation and should not be confused with a qualification for local boat operators or a guarantee of suitable boating weather.
A new lounge by the ocean
The property has also introduced a Club Collection experience with an oceanfront Club Lounge for participating guests. It includes concierge arrangements, personalised arrival and departure and food presentations, creating an additional gathering space away from the main resort activity.
The hotel describes the lounge as a more private guest option; exact room access and booking terms should be confirmed separately. A first Michelin Key is a useful current marker, but does not replace comparing the facilities and accommodation against a family's needs.
A coastline with varied days out
The resort's setting offers time by the lagoons and coastline, with pools, dining and golf among its named facilities. Restaurants include Mina's Fish House, Noe, La Hiki and Manalo Lounge, letting a short holiday mix outdoor time and evenings ashore.
Guests interested in recreational boats, surfboards or paddling must check the local operator's permissions, experience requirements and weather guidance. A resort image of a lagoon is not proof that all forms of private boat use are permitted there.
