DoubleTree by Hilton has opened its first Singapore hotel at Robertson Quay, adding a 344-room riverside base with an outdoor pool and two new dining venues.
DoubleTree by Hilton Singapore Robertson Quay has opened on Havelock Road beside the Singapore River, marking the brand’s debut in the city. The 344-room hotel puts guests within walking distance of Robertson Quay, Chinatown, Tiong Bahru and Clarke Quay while adding an outdoor pool, wellness studio and two new dining concepts.
A riverside base for exploring Singapore
The hotel sits in Robertson Quay, one of the quieter stretches of the Singapore River, with restaurants, bars and walking routes close to the water. Havelock MRT Station is around five minutes away on foot, giving guests a straightforward connection to the wider city.
That combination works well for travellers who want a city break without staying in the busiest shopping or business districts. Clarke Quay, Chinatown and Tiong Bahru are all within easy reach, while Sentosa and Orchard Road can be reached by public transport.
More than 200 rooms overlook the river
The property has 344 rooms and suites ranging from 24 to 50 square metres, with 224 rooms overlooking the Singapore River. The mix includes King, Queen and Twin rooms, sofa-bed options, connecting rooms and four Deluxe Suites.
The accommodation is designed for couples, families and small groups rather than only business travellers. Complimentary Wi-Fi, 55-inch televisions and practical work areas keep the rooms suitable for both short stays and longer city visits.
Pool and wellness spaces add downtime
Guests have access to an outdoor pool with daybeds and cabanas, a 24-hour fitness centre and a wellness studio. Those facilities give the hotel some resort-style breathing room without turning it into a destination resort.
For travellers spending much of the day exploring Singapore, that balance can be useful. A pool beside a riverside neighbourhood gives guests somewhere to slow down between sightseeing, meals and evening walks along the quay.
Two new dining concepts open at Robertson Quay
SAUS is the hotel’s all-day restaurant, using local flavours and more than 40 house-made condiments across its menu. Brew:33 is a 64-seat café and bar built around coffee, cookies and craft beer, with a pet-friendly alfresco area facing the neighbourhood.
The hotel officially opened on September 30, with lunch and dinner service at SAUS due to begin from November 1. That makes the property immediately bookable while some parts of the full food programme continue to phase in.
