Acqua di Parma La Caletta Brings Mediterranean Coast Into Summer Design

Acqua di Parma’s La Caletta collection uses Mediterranean rock, coral, sea and light as the design language for a limited summer range created with Laura Gonzalez.

Acqua di Parma has introduced La Caletta, a Summer 2026 collection created with interior architect Laura Gonzalez around the image of a secluded Mediterranean shoreline. The project draws on coral, rock formations, sea and light, translating those references into fragrance presentation, candles and decorative details.

The collection sits naturally within LBG Lifestyle because it is less about formal luxury than about a recognisable coastal mood. Its starting point is the idea of a quiet rocky place where the sea meets stone, which is familiar to anyone who uses a small boat to find coves away from crowded beaches.

Blu Mediterraneo gets a new visual language

La Caletta reinterprets Acqua di Parma’s existing Blu Mediterraneo world through sculptural shapes and graphic patterns. Gonzalez’s design appears across objects including the Acropora candle as well as bottle caps and labels.

The result demonstrates how strongly coastal geography can influence design beyond boats and resorts. Texture, colour and forms taken from the shoreline can carry the memory of a place into everyday objects long after a trip has ended.

Coastal lifestyle is often about small places

The concept deliberately avoids the image of a grand resort and instead focuses on a more intimate meeting of rock, sea and summer light. That makes it closer to the experience of day-boating, where the attraction can be a simple anchorage or quiet landing place rather than a famous destination.

For small-boat owners, those locations are often the reason to own the boat at all. The vessel becomes a way to reach pieces of coastline that are difficult to experience from the road or a busy waterfront.

Fragrance and design need a credible connection

LBG will keep this kind of coverage selective because coastal styling alone is not enough to make every home or beauty launch relevant. La Caletta works because Mediterranean place, sea and material references shape the project from the beginning.

That gives the Lifestyle section room to cover fragrance and design without losing its boating identity. The editorial test remains whether the product says something genuine about how people experience the coast, travel or time around the water.
